Where Prayer Was Born in Silence

In the year 2020, when the world grew still and many sanctuaries were closed, our small Christian community in the Holy Land was born in quiet prayer. We stood before God when others could not, carrying the hopes of the faithful from distant lands. Voices reached us with humble ΠΏΡ€ΠΎΡΡŒΠ±Ρ‹ of the heart: β€œPray for us… light a candle for us…” And so we remained, faithful in intercession, trusting the promise of Scripture: β€œFor where two or three are gathered in My name, there am I among them.” - Matthew 18:20.

Flames Kindled in the Presence of the Risen Lord

From this calling, we began to craft candles by hand, using only pure and natural materials, and to bring them with reverence to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. There, in prayer, they are blessed and lit for those who cannot come. In time, we were guided to create also crosses from natural wood, each one shaped with devotion. Into every piece we place a part of the Holy Land itself, holding fast to the words: β€œThe light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” - John 1:5.

A Light That Reaches Every Distant Heart

Today, as the Holy Land once again walks through uncertain days, our mission endures -that no soul be distant from its grace. When you receive a candle or a cross from us, you receive more than a sacred object; you receive a living prayer. Each is carried to Jerusalem, placed upon the Stone of Anointing, and kindled from the blessed fire of the Holy Tomb. Thus, the light that comes into your home bears witness to the promise: β€œI am with you always, to the very end of the age.” - Matthew 28:20.
